Perth Council House & Trafalgar Bridge in East Perth was lit up as one of the ways to bring awareness about TN, Facial Pain and the treatments available to help sufferers and their families the world over.
International Trigeminal Neuralgia Awareness Day was established by TNnME (Trigeminal Neuralgia and Me) in 2013. Since then the organisation annually sponsors the observation of this day Trigeminal Neuralgia and facial pain associations, situated in the USA, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, France and New Zealand to bring awareness about TN and the treatments available.
