As we didn’t have a guest speaker members had the opportunity to share their TN experiences, treatments and discuss the many problems which arise in the lives of TN sufferers. We all enjoyed a Christmassy get together and delicious refreshments.
We all enjoyed Professor Lind’s brilliant talk which covered the wide spectrum of typical and atypical TN, its treatments and surgical options available. Members agreed on how fortunate we were to have such highly skilled surgeons and sophisticated technology to provide us with the best possible chance of successful outcomes. Professor Lind kindly answered questions and we were so appreciative for his support and empathy. You can read more in the February 2017 newsletter.
Perth The next Perth meeting is to be held from 2 - 4pm on 3 December at Grace Vaughan House, 227 Stubbs Tce, Shenton Park. Guest Speaker Prof. Christopher Lind, Neurosurgeon will speak with us on treatments for TN. He specialises in microvascular decompression, percutaneous radiofrequency and also sensorimotor cortex or deep brain stimulation surgery. This a must for those needing answers on which path to take to pain freedom. All welcome.

We had a most enlightening talk by Eric Yu from Acupuncture West on the whole concept of acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and how it can improve ones wellbeing and tolerance to help the body deal with TN pain. It improves natural body function and promotes the self healing process. Read more in the August newsletter.
