This was our final meeting for the year and we enjoyed quite an intimate candle lit Christmas gathering, as stormy weather had caused a power cut. We were happy to welcome Shannon who had travelled three hours from Greenbushes to share with us the interesting story of her TN battle. We discussed topics such as dental surgery and Dr Delcanho's' interesting lecture on the 17th of October, and different member progress with TN, treatments and medical proceedures. We enjoyed delicious xmas refreshments, the raffle and much happy xmas chatter. Read more about it in the February Newsletter.
The next Perth meeting at Grace Vaughan House on 5 Saturday December at 2pm will be our last for the year. Do come along and enjoy some Christmas cheer.
Interesting follow up on his treatment for Antonietta’s TN. Sympathetic Dominance Antonietta asked me to send you an email to better explain her treatment and why it is working for her. I saw her today and she is now 3 weeks pain free! When I spoke to your group, we talked about the implications subluxation (lack of spinal joint movement) has on afferent and efferent nerve transmission. Essentially, does the brain receive the correct or incorrect information allowing it to construct the most appropriate physiological response for the body. Dr Ryan Kennedy gave us a most interesting and informative introduction into the importance of maintaining a healthy spine to prevent and treat many problems including TN. Your brain, spinal cord and all of your nerves control and regulate your body. Every cell, tissue, organ and system (even your immune system!) is controlled by your nervous system.
